The Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme – Continuous Monitoring Approach (USOAP-CMA) of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is a system that evaluates the State’s Safety Oversight System.
Junjian Nie, Chief of the Safety and Air Navigation Oversight Audit Section of the ICAO Air Navigation Bureau, and one of the facilitators of the USOAP-CMA Workshop held on November 17–19, 2025 at the Grand Westside Hotel in Parañaque City, highlights the importance of this activity as the Philippines prepares for its USOAP audit next year.
