Transportation Undersecretary Jim Sydiongco, together with CAAP Director General Retired Lt. Gen. Raul del Rosario and Deputy Director General for Administration Atty. Danjun Lucas ensured that the proposed and ongoing infrastructure projects in the said airports are on track.
This is in line with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Acting Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez to prioritize infrastructure projects that will unlock Mindanao’s full economic potential through improved air connectivity and accessibility.
By ensuring that airport facilities in the region are upgraded to meet international standards, the government aims to foster tourism, investment and inclusive growth across the region.
