More than four hundred of aviation stakeholders– ranging from Air Operators, Maintenance Organizations, Training Organizations, Ground Handling companies, Aerodrome Operators, Aircraft Manufacturers, partner International Organizations, and other government agencies supported the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines as the Authority formally launched the Philippine Aviation Safety Plan (PASP) and the State Safety Program (SSP) at the State Safety Summit from November 5-6, 2025 at Casa Ibarra, Pasay City.

The PASP and SSP, which outlines the strategic direction of the Philippines for the management of aviation safety, goes in accordance with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos, Jr’s directive to ensure that the highest levels of safety is being promoted, implemented, and enforced across the country’s aviation sector.

The two-day event, anchored on the theme “Future-Proofing the Philippine Aviation Ecosystem for Growth,” served as a platform for the exchange of knowledge, best practices, and strategies to enhance the implementation of the SSP and PASP.

As part of the Summit, a Pledge of Commitment Signing Ceremony was also conducted, where representatives from various aviation organizations signed their commitment to the State Safety Program and the Philippine Aviation Safety Plan — symbolizing unity and shared accountability in promoting a safe and secure airspace.
