The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), through its Gender and Development Focal Point System (GADFPS), organized a Women’s Forum on 11 March 2026 in line with the observance of National Women’s Month.
The forum brought together women employees from the CAAP Central Office and featured sessions on public speaking, personal grooming, and building a personal brand. The discussions aimed to help participants strengthen their confidence and carry themselves with greater ease in both professional and everyday settings.
The activity was attended primarily by women employees, with several male colleagues also joining the discussions and taking part in the learning sessions.

According to GAD Focal Point System Vice Chairperson MGen Ricardo C Banayat AFP (Ret), the activity intended to offer practical guidance that participants can readily apply in their work and daily interactions.
Through its Gender and Development initiatives, CAAP continues to open more opportunities for women within the Authority, ranging from skills development activities and learning sessions to programs that support their growth in technical, operational, and leadership roles in civil aviation.
Every year, CAAP marks National Women’s Month, following the Philippine Commission on Women, through a range of activities held throughout March, which also coincides with the Authority’s founding anniversary.
