On Wednesday, 2 July 2025, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), led by Director General LTGEN Raul Del Rosario AFP (Ret), hosted the courtesy visit of Civil Air Navigation Services Organization (CANSO) Digital Transformation Workgroup – Co-Chair, SWIM Focus Area Lead, and SWIM Kit Author, Wayne Osse at its Central Office in Pasay City.
The primary focus of Mr. Osse’s visit is the upcoming SWIM Workshop that is scheduled to take place at the Civil Aviation Training Center (CATC) in Pasay City from 3-4 July 2025.
SWIM, an initiative spearheaded by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), aims to substantially improve the efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of aeronautical information exchange across the entire aviation industry in contemporary air traffic management (ATM) systems.
