Today, 20 November 2025, marks the start of the Basic Communication Navigation Surveillance Systems Officer (CNSSO) Course Batch 45 at the Civil Aviation Training Center in Merville, Pasay City.

Following a stringent selection process, 59 successful applicants from across the country are now undergoing the intensive training program until August 2026. Upon completion, these individuals will join the CAAP Air Navigation Service’s elite line of Air Traffic Safety Electronic Personnel (ATSEP).

This program is a key part of CAAP’s strategy to secure the future of Philippine aviation. The initiative simultaneously supports the International Civil Aviation Organization’s (ICAO) Next Generation of Aviation Professionals (NGAP) program by attracting new talents, and drives the Marcos administration’s vision of a stronger, more secure air sector by developing the necessary expert personnel for Philippine aviation.
