Pasay City – The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) was recognized by the Department of Finance for its remittance of Php 971,168,225 dividends to the national government.
The recognition was conferred during the 2025 Government Owned or Controlled Corporations (GOCC) Day on September 16, 2025, at Malacañang Palace, where President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. led the awarding ceremony.
The award is personally received by CAAP Director General retired Lt. Gen. Raul Del Rosario.
The recognition underscores CAAP’s consistent contribution to the national treasury and affirms the directive of President Marcos and Acting Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez to practice fiscal responsibility, transparency, and efficient revenue management.
“This reflects the hard work and dedication of the men and women of CAAP in ensuring that our aviation sector not only remains safe and reliable but also contributes meaningfully to the progress of the nation,” said Lt. Gen. Del Rosario.
