Pasay City – The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) assures the public that operations at Puerto Princesa International Airport remain normal and uninterrupted following the untimely passing of its acting airport manager.
CAAP Director General Retired Lt. Gen. Raul Del Rosario personally confirmed during his visit to the airport on Thursday, February 19, that flight schedules, safety procedures and all essential airport services continue without disruption.
The Director General also extended the Authority’s condolences to the bereaved family and assured them that CAAP management will closely monitor developments in the case, in accordance with the directives of Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez.
“Ibibigay ng CAAP ang suportang kailangan ng pamilya. Makikipagtulungan tayo sa mga kinauukulan para maresolba ang kaso at mabigyan ng hustiya ang ating kasama sa CAAP,” Lt. Gen. Del Rosario said.
Meanwhile, the Authority emphasizes that the circumstances surrounding the death of the airport manager remain under investigation and urges the public to refrain from making assumptions and spreading unverified claims related to the incident.
