On October 5, 2018, Philippine Air Force (PAF) Commanding General Lt. General Galileo Gerard Kintanar, Jr. and key officials from the PAF visited the Philippine Air Traffic Management Center at the CAAP Main Office in Pasay City.

Lt. General Kintanar toured the center with CAAP Deputy Diretor General for Administration MGen. Ricardo Banayat, AFP (Ret.) and CAAP Aerodrome Division Acting Chief Marlene Singson.


CAAP Director General Capt. Jim C. Sydiongo, DOTr Undersecretary for Aviation and Airports Capt. Manuel Antonio Tamayo, and CAAP Deputy Director General for Operations Capt. Donaldo Mendoza also welcomed and met with Lt. Gen. Kintanar and the PAF officials.

The visit aims to further introduce the new Philippine Air Traffic Management Center to the members of the country’s air force and in order to enhance coordination among related government agencies towards improving airspace connectivity and integrating air defense radars for efficient air space monitoring.
