The AIS continues its nationwide workshop to increase awareness of its services and processes across the CAAP Area Centers. The Area 4 workshop was held at Puerto Princesa International Airport from 30 to 31 July 2025.
Each intensive two-day workshop aims to elevate the knowledge of participating airport personnel, including airport managers, safety officers, aerodrome engineers, Air Traffic Service (ATS) and Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance (CNS) personnel on aeronautical data management standardization, promote digitalization through the adoption of the electronic Aeronautical Information Publication (eAIP); and improve accuracy and integrity of aeronautical information across all Philippine airports, ensuring Philippine airports continue to meet international safety standards.
The workshop has been previously held at CAAP Area 1 (Laoag), Area 2 (Tuguegarao), Area 3 (Clark), Area 6 (Iloilo), and Area 7 (Bohol-Panglao).
This initiative is a continuation of CAAP’s commitment to the DOTr and the Marcos administration’s vision of a digitally transformed and empowered nation by maintaining the highest aviation safety standards through modern aeronautical information management.
