In order to ensure the effective implementation of Memorandum Circular 026-2025 on the “Prohibition of Hazardous Activities Within Airport Vicinities and Operational Areas,” the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) held a meeting with concerned government agencies and air operators at its Central Office in Pasay City on 11 July 2025.
In line with the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Marcos administration’s goal of making life better for the Filipino, CAAP pushed for collaboration and sought the support of stakeholders involved in civil aviation to safeguard flights and ultimately, ensure the safety of the flying public. The meeting is only one of the many more steps CAAP will take toward a safer and more secure Philippine airports and airspace.
