On Tuesday, 08 July 2025, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Director General Lt Gen Raul L Del Rosario AFP (Ret) delivered an inspiring message to the graduates of Sapphire International Aviation Academy (SIAA) during their 2025 commencement ceremony at the Regal Palace Ballroom, Rizal Park Hotel, Manila, celebrating not only their academic achievements but also their entry into the ever-growing aviation industry.
With the continued development of airport infrastructure and increased Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) upon the direction of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr and Department of Transportation Secretary Vince B. Dizon, DG Del Rosario encouraged the graduates to always aim high in their respective professional fields.
DG Del Rosario also highlighted that the nation is headed for significant aviation growth between 2027 and 2032, and that today’s graduates will be at the forefront of the industry’s transformation.
“The sky is far more vast than the earth beneath us, and the opportunities ahead are just as boundless,” he added.
DG Del Rosario assured the graduates that CAAP remains committed to supporting and working closely with the next generation of aviation professionals.
The keynote address finally ended with his gratitude and encouragement: “The runway is cleared for takeoff, and your journey is just beginning. Soar high, and never stop reaching for greater heights.”
