In an effort to ensure greater resilience during an earthquake disaster, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) took part in the fourth quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) led by the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) through the Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) today, November 6.

CAAP personnel from the Central Office, Area Centers, and Airports nationwide participated in the synchronous earthquake drill, executing the agency’s emergency response plans and evacuation procedures.

This commitment to a full-scale simulation underscores CAAP’s dedication to proactive safety management, ensuring that its personnel can swiftly and effectively apply enhanced disaster response techniques to safeguard the traveling public during earthquake-related emergencies.
