How do I apply for an airman's license?
The following are the required documents in applying for an airman's license and are to be submitted at the Aviation Safety Division, CAAP:

1. Private Pilot License (PPL) / Private Helicopter Pilot License (PHPL) - Original
  • Duly notarized application
  • Medical release
  • Two I.D. pictures 1.5" x 1.5"
  • Certificate of Flying Time
  • Duly attested logbook
  • Theoretical examination
  • Checkride
  • License Fee
  • Original License Form
  • Radio license
  • Pre-Solo exam result
2. Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) / Commercial Pilot License (CPL) /
    Commercial Helicopter Pilot License (CHPL) / Private Pilot License (PPL) /
    Private Helicopter Pilot License (PHPL) - Renewal
  • Duly notarized application
  • Medical release Certificate of Flying Time
  • Duly attested Logbook
  • Checkride
  • License Fee
  • Radio license
  • Recurrency 121 & 135
3. Student Pilot License (SPL) - Renewal
  • Duly notarized application
