  • What are the requirements or documents needed in applying concession in an airport?

  • An APPLICATION FOR CONCESSION form must be properly filled-up together with the following documents:

    • Letter of Intent
    • Endorsement/Recommendation by the Area and Airport Manager/OIC
    • Location/Sketch plan indicating the actual measurement applied for with the concurrence of the Airport Manager or Area Manager or Officer-In-Charge of the Airport.
    • Certification from the Airport Manager that no outstanding delinquent account due to CAAP.
    • A Mayor's Permit.
    • Building and Height Clearance Permit, if applicable.
    • Architectural plans for new structures.
    • Latest Community Certificate No. of the Concessionaire or Authorized Representative
  • To whom shall we address the Letter of Intent?

  • The letter should be addressed to the Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines thru the Chief of the Airport Maintenance Section.

  • How much is the rental fee?

  • The fee is based on the airport / land classification and where it is located. Please see Fees and Charges.

  • What is the duration of the contract?

  • The duration of the contract will depend on the cost of the structure.

  • What is the processing time for a given application for concession?

  • If the documents are complete, it will take two (2) weeks processing.
