Brief Description of Project

Bantayan Airport is located at Barangay Ocoy, Municipality of Sta. Fe, Bantayan Island, Province of Cebu.
The Airport with land area of 24 hectares was acquired by the Provincial Government of Cebu. A memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was entered between
the Air Transportation Office and the Provincial Government of Cebu to improve the airport in accordance with ICAO Standards.

Her Excellency President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo inaugurated the project at Evelio B. Javier Airport on March 28, 2003. The biggest aircraft that can be accomodated is DASH-7.
