| Available for: All Applicants |
The ATO Licensing System (ALS) allows applicants to use any PC with Internet access to initiate, track and manage
their application through a password-protected account. ALS frees the applicant from having to fill out and mail
paper applications, and gives them secure, online access to their licenses and pending applications.
Before using ALS, the applicant must first register to receive a system generated username and password.
Click the Airmen Licensing System link from the ATO Website home page. Click the Register menu item from the list in the sidebar menu. Browse to the bottom of the Terms and Condition page and click on the I accept these conditions button if you agree to the terms and conditions specified. Click the I do not accept these conditions button if you choose otherwise and cancel your application. Enter the information for the registration. Click Next after filling up all required fields.

Check if all the information you entered appears on the Confirm Your Details page. If you need to correct the data you entered, click on the < Edit button to edit your details. If all information entered is correct, click the Next button. The system will then present you with a confirmation page. We recommend printing this page for your records as you will need to use the supplied username and password to apply for and manage your license application within the ALS system.
Once you have completed your registration, click on the Close Window button. The system will then direct you to the ALS Login page. You may now enter the supplied username and password supplied with your successful registration. Click the Login button to continue.
